I have learned that lots of western people don't eat animals' organs, like chicken feet  ,head, lamb heart, cow stomach.(sounds a bit disgusting) But brits or french quite fancy goose liver. I know in western supermarket liver is often found in different varieties of pâté,like fish pâté,mushroom pâté. So this confused me.Would you or other westerns try any of the other types of offal?

Well, i definately not,i am mostly vegetarian. I do eat a little bit of chicken, fish, pork, but i don't eat any other meet like beef, lamb.( It freaks my friends out that i don't eat beef, what? unbelieveable!)

Is there anyone out there who's willing to give chicken feet or other animal body parts a try?

That was one of the most shocking things that I found when I came to China.
Later I learned that chinese people eat everything with legs but tables and everything with wings but plains.

In my country (Venezuela) people eat brains, liver, heart, tongue, intestines, from cows. The same with some parts of the chicken, but never the head or the claws, those go to waste. The aborigine people in my country eat tarantulas, monkeys, big ants, caterpillars and stuff like that, actually my dad had once at home an spicy sauce made of ants by the amazonian aborigines. So even when I've never dared to taste any of this stuff it wasn't that hard for me.

But, I almost faint when I saw people eat chicken embryos. :S that was beyond my conception of what is eatable.

Once in a restaurant the waitress in a mistake brought toad instead of chicken, I decided to give it a shot and it wasn't that bad actually it was a very soft and tasty meat. Once in a wedding I tried the little turtle soup, it was like chicken soup, but the chef left the turtle shell in each plate and I couldn't take more than one spoon, then I tried the little pigeon meat, but it was to dry and weird for my taste so after a couple of gags I spent the wedding drinking orange juice. :P

"Chinese people eat everything with legs but tables and everything with wings but plane." That is true,Ronald, but it mainly talks about people from Guangdong. We also say:Even Aliens are not dare to go to Guangdong because people will eat them.

I can't stand it when people eat chicken embryos. Even if i am not a vegetarian, there is still no way for me to try it, i have to follow my principle.

I don't eat beef but i had it once. I thought it was pork. After the dinner my friend told me it wasn't. But to be honest,it was alright,it was fine. But still,i wouldn't try if i know it is beef.I think if i can't see what it looks like originally, then there might be more chance to try it.

Is it seahorse on the photo? People eat that? How disgusting !
You don't want to try it do you ? Ohh please.

Yes that is a picture that I took in Beijing they have a stand selling scorpions, sea horses, cicadas, etc.
I'm looking for a video that I made a couple of year ago where one guy selling this kind of food fried a big millipedes, he also had, big black scorpions, cicadas, sea stars, sea horses and lizards. :P it was a food fair in the Minggugong Park.
