I WANT TO KNOW, CAN A OVERSEAS STUDENTS LIVING IN NANJING CAN GET PART TIME JOBS ?

IF WE R LIVING IN USA OR AUSTRALIA OR SOME OTHER COUNTRY, STUDENTS CAN HAVE GET PART TIME JOBS, BUT WHY IN CHINA MOST OF CITIES DON'T GIVE A CHANCE TO WORK IN BARS AND OTHER PLACE.

IF SOMEONE KNOWS ABOUT PART TIMES AND JOBS WHICH HELP OUR FRIENDS, PLEASE POST THEM HERE.

I remember that back in the day people would literally go up to foreigners on the street and offer them sketchy English teaching jobs. I have no idea if that is still in effect...In terms of other part time work, I have heard that some foreign trade companies want foreign reps. Again, I can't offer any specific info about that.

The reason being is that abroad you can get a part time job and make enough money to eat, have fun, and live. To many foreigners here it is not worth the money to get a part time job here. I'd almost rather be paid in peanuts (planters, salted)

Bars don't want to hire a Foreigner because why pay 20,000 rmb a month for someone that knows how to interact with people and smile when you can pay someone 1200 rmb from the village (although they have no personality, nor smile, nor shower). It doesn't add up.

BTW there are restrictions abroad for foreigners and part time jobs as well. Some can ONLY find jobs on campus.
